Trip to Texas

Here's Betty taking a look at some of the ruins and some of the ruins. The other photo is of the staging area for the the tram ride.


Well, Betty and I made it here to Midland, TX safe and sound. However, it's hot!!!! 104/103/106 and last night the power went off around 2am for about 3 hours or so. The temp was down in the 80's outside, which made it close to the 100's inside. Oh well. Been going to a couple of places - the CAF Museum and the Petroleum Museum. The CAF has plenty of aircraft and the other one has plenty of information about the oil companies and the Chaparral Racing Cars of Jim Hall and company. Pictures will be attached. On our way back, we'll be going through NM, maybe White Sands (she's never been there) and maybe Mesa Verde
