Another Milestone
Today, for the first time in how many years? I was able to walk approximately 3/4's of a mile without having to stop for breath. I did stop to check some things, but it wasn't because I had to for a change. I guess my workouts with the Wii each day and watching my diet is starting to pay off.
8 Years!!!!
Today marks the 8th year of my NOT SMOKING!!!!!! Didn't think I would even make it 8 months, let alone 8 years. I woke up on Mother's Day with two packs of smokes. About 6 hours later, I had 6 smokes. I checked my wallet and I had enough money for a carton of smokes or the patch. I took the patch. (I did have one small relapse in Oct when my mother died. I had about 2 pack of smokes then - so you purists can say that is when I quit.)

Another Month
Well, it's MAY. Don't recall any birthdays this month but forgot a couple last month. Belated birthday wishes to you. It's the annual Spring Cleanup here for the next couple of weeks. It give people a chance to throw out junk and let the city pick it up for free. Of course, it gives other people a chance to pick up your junk and put it in their yard sale. ;)
