Yesterday - Photo Sale/show
Hi everyone. Yesterday I had a show/sale of my photographs at the Club House here in the apartment complex. The ratio of sales to the number of people who showed up was 1:5. 5 people showed up and I made one sale. Not to bad, but there should have been at least 20 people show up. I was told that the people in the complex just don't get up and go out to things as they should. There's really no reason and everyone here is able to get up and get around. They go out and attend things at the club house if they can get something for free. Oh well, next time maybe. I was able to leave some of my photographs on the walls. I don't know for how long, but that's ok.
I also put two new photo's on the 5th floor of Alpine Bank. Thanks Chuck for continuing to allow me to do this.
This photo took first place in the B & W catagory at the VA Creative Arts Festival this past week. I finally beat out "Doc" Ross who took 2nd with his photograph of a "nude". Which was done very tastefully. This one is being sent to the Nationals and who know's, I might luck out and win there too. But those results are a few months down the road.
What/who else I'm thankful for #2
I'm thankful for the "big guy" - Jerry, who has helped me through the divorce; and to Jake who also is helping. And an especially big thankful to Sue J, my preacher's wife, for her concern and caring.
I know there are other's too, and I don't mean to exclude you, but you know who you are and I appreciate all your help/concern/prayers. I thank you all.
Remember, not all of us can receive the Bronco's - Chief's game this Turkey day so for those of you who can, remember us who can't and have to listen to it on the old fashioned radio or horror of horrors - have to go to a Sport's Bar...

It's about time isn't it? Well, here's two that I took yesterday on the Grand Mesa. More can be seen on my picture trail site. The one on the left is looking backwards through the rear view mirror. The other one is through my windshield. According to the CDOT web site which I checked out before I left, the roads were dry and clear....Oh well.
